The enrollment is realized by sending the online enrollment form to Hungarian For Expats. As soon as the availability is verified
the student will receive a written confirmation of the course enrollment and an invoice from the school.
The reservation only becomes obligatory for the language school if this is approved in a written form.
The student is bound to the registration until the confirmation of the language school, at the most 10 days after the entry date of the enrollment. If the student made the payment, but a class is already full, the full amount will be reimbursed.
1) Cancellation of Contract by the Student
The student may cancel the enrollment at any time prior to the start of the course. The cancellation needs to be communicated in writing by the person that booked the course. A cancellation will cause cancellation charges as specified below:
46+ days before course start: All fees are refunded apart from amount of first payment upon booking;
31-45 days before course start: 75% refund apart from amount of first payment upon booking
16-30 days before course start: 60% refund apart from amount of first payment upon booking
1-15 days before course start: 25% refund apart from amount of first payment upon booking
After the start of course, the school will pay no refunds. To avoid or minimize cancellation fees, you may present another person to participate in the course in your place or you may request ahead of time to postpone the course to another date. The student may communicate the cancellation by contacting email@example.com
2) Cancellation of Contract by the School
In case of printing, writing or calculation errors, the schools reserve the right to cancel the contract.
The school may also cancel a class if the minimum number of three students was not reached. If the minimum number of students was not reached, the cancellation has to be communicated at least three days before the official start of the class.
3. Private Classes
Private Students are required to take classes within a specified time-frame, unless they can present a medical certificate justifying their absence. The time-frame corresponds to 2/3 additional time: if a student bought 12 private sessions, they have 20 weeks to complete the classes. If a student is absent for more than one month, we reserve the right to assign their teacher to another student. If a class is cancelled less than 24 hours before the time it was scheduled, it counts as taken.
Product is specified in the product description available on the website. Upon purchase, the student receives not only a language class, but also corresponding material. The time of the classes may be changed only if agree upon by student and service provider.
If not otherwise indicated, prices are in the local currency of the country in which the school is located.
Price conversions to other currencies on the website, documents or communications are for information only. Prices are without guarantee until full confirmation of course has been provided.
6. Promotional Codes
The student may use promotional codes to receive a reduction on the payment. Promotional codes cannot be combined.
7. Payment methods
The student may use our online payment system and pay by card.
Pay by Barion bank card – If online bank card payments are executed via the Barion system. The merchant does not get and store bank card data. Barion Payment Inc., the provider of this service, is an institution under the authority of the Central Bank of Hungary, its license number is: H-EN-I-1064/2013. If for any reason card payment is not available, the student may transfer the money. They can request transfer payment details by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org
